LIFE.
“You don't have to bend the whole world. If you shoot an arrow and it goes real high, hooray for you.” - Dorian Corey.
Sometimes my arrow goes real high, so I say hooray for me.

AWARD School is a globally recognised course for aspiring creatives. Accepting only 200 students each year across Asia-Pacific, the 12-week program is a deep dive into innovation and creativity in advertising, design, product development, public relations, strategic planning, production, experiential, packaging, and digital media. I placed first in the Online Program and achieved a long-time career dream of mine.
JAWUN INDIGENOUS CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS SECONDEE
2021
Representing Macquarie, I relocated to Miriwoong Country (Kununurra, Western Australia) for 6-week secondment with Jawun working with Indigenous-led organisations. At my host organisation, East Kimberly Job Pathways (EKJP), I produced a series of culturally inclusive videos (with a budget of >$1,000) that enabled EKJP to effectively communicate who they are and what they do for a diverse set of stakeholders.
I also had the opportunity to tutor high school students in the Follow The Dream (FTD) after-school program at East Kimberley College (EKC). FTD focuses on high-achieving Indigenous students from years seven to twelve and aims to build confidence and capacity in their academic pursuits. Upon returning to Macquarie, I raised enough money to fully fund EKC's Creating The Dream program (a partner program to FTD) for the next 3 years.
